Dad at 14 years of age

Looking through my pictures I did find this of my Dad at age 14. I have no ideal if that was regular wear or some sort of uniform. I am posting it for those that might want a copy of it. It was probably taken in about 1917 and in northern CA. If he was still living he would be 104 on Nov. 19th.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!

I believe that at 14 he was working on the candy wagon as Mom called it in the logging camps. He would ride with the man who own it and help out. They wouldn't let him work with the loggers until he was older. He looked older than he was at that time. m-lee

MLee: I guess I am going to have to pick your brain when you come up as I don't remember mom talking about that. I am sure there are a lot of things you remember that I don't.

Pam: I need to see that outfit.LOL

Hey, if I wore that outfit down here, I would probably get heat stroke, huh? Sweet boots tho!

Such a sweet photo. He certainly looks older than 14 though! And even in this age, when 14-year-olds seem so much older than when I was a 14-year-old back in the 70s. It must be his uniform! What fun it must've been for him (and you can tell by the way he is standing)... that he was really feeling proud of what-ever-it-was he was doing.
