Beaver St. house now.

This is what the house on Beaver Street looks like today (2008). I really like the colors on it now, but guess that is the artist in me and those are some of my favorite colors. My thanks to Shawn, Pam's friend, for the picture.
Now on to the move to Burlingame, CA. and a couple of pic's when I was young.

My father was born in February 1929 (or maybe it was 1930) and was born just about five houses down and two to the left from you. It's really hard to imagine that your parents didn't know his parents. Surely they walked past each other in the neighborhood at some point. And that you as a 6-month old child didn't giggle at my father so close to your age as you both sat in your strollers as your parents walked you down the street. Somehow in my heart, I just feel that might have happened. The world is so small. And that neighborhood is smaller yet.

I bet they did know each other, but there is no one to ask now. Small world isn't it? That other woman in the pic with my mom and grandmother was named Mrs Simmons and I don't know it that was a neighbror or friend. The internet is a wonderous thing being that you and Pam started a friendship and finding out you knew of the house I was born in.
