

This is one of two pictures I have of my Dad's mom, but have several of his Dad. I never knew her, but she looks like a real homey type person that would have a big heart and would have bread and cookies baking for any who came to visit.
I did get to know him to a point. He believed kids should be seen and not heard, so never really talked to him in depth. He passed away when I was in my later teens.

Yea, I think they were hard workers. Times were a lot different then.
I am absolutely loving the photos and stories. Perfect for being stuck in bed, so much better than staring at the t.v. Can't wait to see more.
Thanks Rayne, I am enjoying digging out the old photos that I have, which aren't a lot. Only stumbling block was when my scanner was acting up but I am good to go now that I got that figured out. This is really a winter time project as we have fairly long cold days here in Wa. then and don't have to worry about yard work.
I have never seen a pic of either of them, thanks!
